We believe baptism is an visual demonstration of God's inward renewal in the life of the believer.
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an obedient act symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried,
and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness
of life in Christ Jesus. It is the symbol of Christ's death, burial and resurrection to a new life. It is a
prerequisite to the privileges of the church in relation to the Lord's Supper.
We believe the Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of
the bread and the fruit of the vine, remember the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming. Jesus Christ
took bread and wine and established them as the imperishable symbols of the church. (I Corinthians 11:24, 25, 28).
