We believe in the church. We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers of
the Lord Jesus Christ who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel.
The church was founded and is owned by Jesus Christ; the universal church is the body of Christ
and the local church is a body of baptized believers; given the mission of evangelism
and edification.
We believe the New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation
of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing
the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges
invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. While both
men and women are gifted for service in the church, the office of pastor, ordaining of deacons and
the commission of preaching, is limited to men as qualified by Scripture.
We believe the Church has been entrusted with the Gospel to proclaim the salvation of Jesus to a
dying world. The church is a fellowship of regenerated men and women called out for God personal
usage.
